「データリッチな教育エコシステムにおける教育と学習」

?　国内外の著名なeラーニングの専門家をお招きして行っております、熊本大学eラーニング連続セミナーも第37回を数えるに至りました。

このセミナーでは、デジタル学習環境で収集されたデータに基づくTechnology-enhanced教育の実践に注目します。ホッペ教授は、デジタルな支援環境における協調学習が、実践の中でどのように発展してきたか、また、それらの研究領域において、データがどのように学習の科学(Science of Learning)の理解に役立ったかについて、展望を述べられます。緒方教授は、日本における現在の大規模プロジェクトの概要を説明されます。そのプロジェクトでは、学校や高等教育の場での日常的な学習活動を支援するために説明可能なAIが設計されています。最後に、研究と実践の境界を前進させるための最先端技術として、新しいAIと新しいラーニングアナリティクスを使った取り組み方で、教育機関、個々の実務家、研究者の役割に関連する議論を行います。

?This seminar focuses on the technology-enhanced educational practices that are supported by data collected in digital learning environments. Prof. Hoppe will provide a perspective on how collaborative learning in a digitally-supported environment has evolved in practice and how data helped to understand the science of learning in those research domains. Prof. Ogata will then provide an overview of the current large-scale project in Japan where explainable AI is being designed to support daily learning activities both at school and higher educational context. Both experts will end with a discussion related to the roles of institutions, individual practitioners, and researchers in how to engage with the new AI and learning analytics as the state of the art to move forward the boundaries of research and practice.

本講演において得られる知見や情報は、今後のeラーニングを活用した教育実践の場、大学教育、授業改善の場で、必ず有益なものになると考えます。
